Welcome!

Welcome! Thanks for stopping by! This blog was created to document the sweet and simple days before our upcoming wedding, as well as the days that will follow into marital bliss. 50 years from now when we're old and gray, we can look back at this blog and remind ourselves of reasons to laugh and love, and of our life together--sweet & simple.

feliz dia de los padres

in celebration of all that dad means to us, we treated him to lunch at the most carnivorous eatery in town--Fogo de Chao, a downtown Brazilian steakhouse.  Marco, by the way, was hosting with his brothers and sister, a very thoughtful seafood-palooza for his dad, grandfather and uncles.

fogo de chao is your one-stop shop for the finest cuts of meat combined with superb culinary skill

the whole fam. not a single empty stomach.

after a gluttonous and incredibly satisfying lunch, mom suggested we take dad to the Southwest School of Art to finally show him where Marco & I will say "I do".  The Southwest School of Art is a fully functioning art school with rich historical value.  Since its establishment in 1851, it served at one time or another as an all-girls' school, a catholic convent as well as a station along the Underground Railroad.  The Southwest School of Art is such a stunningly beautiful wedding venue.  6 months to go!
