in celebration of all that dad means to us, we treated him to lunch at the most carnivorous eatery in town--Fogo de Chao, a downtown Brazilian steakhouse. Marco, by the way, was hosting with his brothers and sister, a very thoughtful seafood-palooza for his dad, grandfather and uncles.
fogo de chao is your one-stop shop for the finest cuts of meat combined with superb culinary skill

the whole fam. not a single empty stomach.

after a gluttonous and
incredibly satisfying lunch, mom suggested we take dad to the Southwest School of Art to finally show him where Marco & I will say "I do". The Southwest School of Art is a fully functioning art school with rich historical value. Since its establishment in 1851, it served at one time or another as an all-girls' school, a catholic convent as well as a station along the Underground Railroad. The Southwest School of Art is such a stunningly beautiful wedding venue. 6 months to go!
