Welcome!

Welcome! Thanks for stopping by! This blog was created to document the sweet and simple days before our upcoming wedding, as well as the days that will follow into marital bliss. 50 years from now when we're old and gray, we can look back at this blog and remind ourselves of reasons to laugh and love, and of our life together--sweet & simple.

its been a long time...

So suffice it to say, life has kept us pretty busy these last couple of weeks.  No posts pretty much means no time, or no fun.  I'll spare you most of the details, but between moving into the new townhome (yay!), classes with the medical students, and Marco taking the 2nd installment of his US Medical Licensing Exam, this blog has been pretty much left to fend for itself.

Things are starting to settle down in the new place.  And by settling down, i mean, it's no longer looking like an episode of "Hoarders".  One of the best things to happen lately was the return of my g-ma from the Philippines!  Nanay, as we affectionately call her, has spent the last few months at home in the Philippines, and boy have we missed her!  I must say, at 81, she's looking younger than ever!  Hopefully she passed on those genes, right?  Soooo good to have her back!

  1. Nanay looks like she's 40! You're right, Didin, let's hope we have at least 50% of her genes! Which pretty much I'm sure we have..hahaha. So good to see you both! We love and miss you Nanay!
