Welcome!

Welcome! Thanks for stopping by! This blog was created to document the sweet and simple days before our upcoming wedding, as well as the days that will follow into marital bliss. 50 years from now when we're old and gray, we can look back at this blog and remind ourselves of reasons to laugh and love, and of our life together--sweet & simple.

Weekend in Abilene

This past weekend we spent some time visiting our dear family in Abilene and celebrating the baptism of the Calvo Triplets!  On our way to Abilene we stopped in Fredericksburg for some dinner and had a such great one at West End Pizza on Main street, a delish recommendation from my friend, Mallory! So yummy.

Saturday morning we watched 5-year-old Braden's basketball game, which was coached by my cousin Reg!  Then we jetted to church for the Triplet's baptism.  Afterwards, it was time for a BBQ lunch at the Calvos!  We hadn't seen our Abilene family since the wedding, so it was such a treat to get to see everyone again.

Nanay, Mom & Pops
West End is a really cozy pizzeria with a really welcoming feel. Not to mention their food is so delicious! Nanay especially loved the fresh ingredients they use on their pizzas.

Go Braden!  Check out his defensive focus! ;)
Quick chat with Dad, uh I mean, Coach.
"Good job"..."Good job"...
Braden got a Star sticker for being an awesome team player!

The Calvos: RJ, Wendy, Big sister Riley and the Triplets
Aubrey Kate Calvo
Lily Abigail Calvo
Maddie Grace Calvo

This is 2-year old Riley! She was one of our adorable flower girls. What a precious mess! ;)

This is 3-year old Dylan! He was one of our handsome little ring bearers. He loves to do whatever Big Brother Braden is doing. So expect to see B-ball shots of Dylan once he's old enough to make the team! ;)
