A few weeks before the wedding, Marco had some much needed time off. So for fun he built a pergola for my parents' backyard. During the cooler months, this outdoor living space is great with the firepit lit and a cup of hot cocoa. For the warmer months, its a great place to enjoy a cold beer or a glass of wine and to just take...it...easy.

| The most difficult part of this project was the digging. Marco, Dad & Nate brought in the heavy duty jackhammer to break through all that obnoxious rock that lay below the paved patio. But once that job was tackled, it was pretty much smooth sailing from there. |
